Jim Akers joined Akers Custom Homes in 1992 and became
President in 1997. The company was originally founded
by Jim’s father, Bill, who quickly created an
image of quality in southwest Orange County. Jim’s
passion is customer satisfaction. Every aspect of his
job is directed at making the client’s experience
exceed their expectations. As the company has grown
Jim’s role has evolved into one of overall management
of the organization. He works closely with the client
and design team in establishing mutually acceptable
contracts and budgets, creating timely scheduling, and
coordinating Akers Custom Homes’ staff to supervise
each job. Jim graduated from Florida Southern College
with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and holds
a Florida Residential Contractor License.

Bud
has more than 23 years of commercial and high end residential
construction experience. He has constructed homes ranging
from 2,500 square feet to 30,000 square feet and has
supervised some of the most elaborate custom homes in
Orlando. He prides himself on completely organizing
every aspect of the job from plan review, through construction,
to 100% customer satisfaction. Bud graduated with a
Bachelors Degree in Building Construction from Louisiana
State University and holds a State of Florida Certified
General Contractor’s License. |
